A Moment of Transformative Change

The last you heard from me, I announced I had joined Saikat Chakrabarti’s congressional campaign as Political Director. While our campaign did not make it past the June primary election, we did a lot to shift the dynamics of the race and platforms of the other candidates, and it was a great learning experience with an amazing candidate and team.

While I have been consulting in the non-profit space since the campaign ended, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on where I can be most impactful and where I want to direct my expertise and energy. The answer is the Palestine Solidarity Movement and Muslim, SWANA, and civil rights advocacy and political organizations. 

At this point in my career, I have dedicated myself to advocating for marginalized communities and working people and centering issues that impact them. I do so in my personal capacity as an organizer, activist, and digital content creator, and bring the skills, expertise, and political capital that I have developed exclusively to this work.
